Job summary

Gensler seeks a Technical Designer to collaborate with the design team in creating innovative design solutions across all project phases. You will articulate ideas verbally and in writing, and produce 2D/3D representations while applying sustainability principles.

The role emphasizes multidisciplinary coordination, detailing, and high-quality graphics, with compensation reflecting local market ranges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of related project experience.
• Proficiency in physical and digital modeling and visualization tools (Rhino, Grasshopper, Revit, Enscape).
• Expert use of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• LEED accreditation or sustainability experience is a plus; AXP/ARE progress is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in an open, iterative design process to develop and refine design concepts.
• Contribute to design across all phases: conceptual, schematic, design development, and construction documents.
• Coordinate design documents with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulators to meet project objectives.
• Create graphic presentations, 3D models and renderings, and design drawings.
• Research and specify materials, building systems, and products.
