minnow is seeking a positive, proactive technical designer to join our growing team in Charleston, SC. The role focuses on developing tech packs, improving finishing details, and ensuring design intent translates to bulk production.

You will collaborate with vendors and internal teams to maintain fit, construction, and quality standards across men’s, women’s, and children's lines. Hybrid role with strong emphasis on accuracy and communication.

Formación

• Children's, women's and men's technical design experience.
• Swim experience (apparel experience a bonus).
• Experience with domestic and overseas vendors.
• Reading patterns and translation of fabrications.
• Full understanding of grade rules and tolerances.
• Garment construction and quality requirements.
• Clear written and verbal communication; strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Illustrator skills are a must.
• Browzwear and/or CLO3D a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Create seasonal developmental tech packs (measurement page, construction page, bill of materials).
• Develop new finishing details, silhouettes and construction methods.
• Maintain consistent fit, construction, and images of the product.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors for bulk production.
• Source fit models, manage fit sessions, relay fit notes/photos.
• Track fit samples and update WIPS chart.
• Follow samples through fit approvals to production; establish master blocks.
• Review all existing patterns and pattern cards.
• Ensure compliance with US safety regulations on measurements, trims, hazardous materials and lab testing specs.
• Build a library of styling features and quality requirements.

specific duties / responsibilities:

• Responsible for creating seasonal developmental tech packs (measurement page, construction page, bill of materials page)
• Develop new finishing details, silhouettes and construction methods
• Create and maintain consistent fit, construction and construction images of the product
• Collaborate with cross functionalteamsand vendors to ensure bulk production reflects design intent and brand requirements
• Source fit models, manage fit sessions, fit on models, and relay fit notes/fit photos to stakeholders
• Track fit samples and update WIPS chart
• Follow the sample through fit approvals to production; ensure consistency in fit and establish master blocks
• Review all existingpatterns and pattern cards
• Ensure compliance to US safety regulations regarding measurements, trims, hazardous materials and lab testing specifications
• Building a library of styling features and quality requirements and ensuring compliance across styles

skills & qualifications:

• Children's, women's and men's technical design experience
• Swim experience (apparel experience a bonus as well!)
• Experience working with both domestic and overseas vendors
• Well versed in reading patternsand understanding of how different fabrications translate
• Full understanding of grade rules and tolerances
• Experienced in garment construction and quality requirements
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Illustrator skills are a must
• Browzwearand/or CLO3D a plus!
• 5-8 years experience
