Job summary

Saint Cyr Partners in New York, NY seeks a 3D Technical Designer for children’s apparel to develop fit and construction standards, create detailed spec packages, and guide development from proto to final product.

Role requires at least 2 years in children's wear, Browzwear 3D experience, and strong knowledge of knit and woven construction. Office-based, five days a week, with collaboration across design and production teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years relevant experience in children's apparel.
• Experience with Browzwear 3D software or similar software.
• Familiar with measuring sample points and tolerances.
• Strong knowledge of knit and woven garment construction.
• Knowledge of patternmaking, sewing terminology and garment construction.
• Understanding of garment manufacturing and product development process.
• Proficient in Excel and MS Word; Illustrator a plus.
• Must be willing to work in the office 5 days/week.

An established Wholesale Manufacturer of branded and licensed children's apparel in NYC is looking to fill a Technical Design position. The Technical Designer is responsible for developing and maintaining a consistent level of quality and fit for Children's Apparel.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Work with Design and Production teams to establish and maintain fit and construction standards to ensure brand consistency and quality
• Create spec packages for each style including correct grade rules and non-standard construction details
