Job summary

The Talbots LLC in New York City is seeking a Technical Design Coordinator to manage project flow for the Technical Design organization and support Product Development. The role includes maintaining the Technical Design Manual, Label function, and Fit Model process, while also handling department financials.

You will coordinate with Marketing, Pre-Production and IT, ensuring data accuracy in PLM systems and driving improvements across the design lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Fashion-related degree or 2–3 years of fashion experience.
• Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent project management and coordination abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Manage fit model process and scheduling.
• Maintain Technical Design Manual and handle updates.
• Administer labels program and coordinate with external vendors.
• Oversee department invoicing and budgets.
• Support IT systems integration with SharePoint and pattern library.
• Book travel and support fittings.
