Job summary

Talbots is seeking an Associate Product Development Manager in New York to drive product development from concept to delivery, collaborating with cross-functional teams and vendors. You will manage orders, track product lifecycle, and support costing and risk analysis, ensuring timely seasonal approvals.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 4+ years in product development or sourcing, with strong Excel/PLM skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred; 4+ years in product development or sourcing.
Experience in accessories is a plus; strong MS Office/Excel/PLM skills.
Able to communicate across teams and manage sample processes.

Responsibilities

Communicate daily with internal and external partners.
Set up and maintain purchase orders in our system; ensure accuracy and distribution.
Track, receive, unpack, distribute, and ship products through the lifecycle.
Review WIP manufacturing reports with Sr. Manager and partners.
Assist in costing, data entry, and cost summary reports.
Identify risks and communicate them timely.
Set up fit and sample reviews for seasonal approvals.
Manage photo sample tracking and design packet verification.
