Technical Delivery Coordinator – Investment Operations Technology

Contract

Role Overview

The Technical Delivery Coordinator is responsible for driving the successful execution of day-to-day operational activities and technology initiatives within an Investment Operations environment. This role blends investment operations expertise with technical coordination skills to ensure efficient issue resolution, cross-functional collaboration, and disciplined delivery execution. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery Coordination & Issue Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for techno-functional triage of data-related issues, leveraging business and system knowledge to diagnose, route, and coordinate resolution.
• Manage the full lifecycle of production issues, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
• Proactively identify, prioritize, and escalation critical or time-sensitive requests to maintain delivery commitments.

Stakeholder Communication & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Provide timely, accurate status updates and effectively manage stakeholder communications and escalations.
• Partner with Investment Operations, Technology, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across initiatives and operational support activities.
• Foster strong collaboration between business and technical teams to drive successful outcomes.

Agile Delivery & Team Coordination

• Lead daily standups and end-of-day checkpoints to review progress, remove blockers, and align priorities.
• Facilitate sprint planning, backlog refinement, and Scrum ceremonies across multiple technology workstreams.
• Coordinate monthly team meetings, including agenda preparation, meeting logistics, documentation of decisions, and action item tracking.
• Maintain JIRA governance by ensuring tickets are complete, accurate, and aligned with established workflows.
• Manage and prioritize the engineering backlog through ongoing grooming, task coordination, and support for enterprise initiatives.
• Improve workflow visibility, optimize task sequencing, and remove delivery bottlenecks.

Reporting & Process Improvement

• Develop and maintain operational dashboards and KPI reporting to provide leadership with meaningful delivery insights.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase operational efficiency, and enhance delivery quality and scalability.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience supporting technology project delivery within capital markets, preferably in a buy-side investment management environment.
• Strong understanding of investment operations, including account structures, product hierarchies, and performance measurement.
• Proficiency with Oracle SQL and the ability to independently analyze data and troubleshoot production issues.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience managing stakeholder expectations and escalations.
• Experience working in Agile environments, including Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog management, and JIRA administration.
• Proven ability to build strong partnerships and collaborate effectively across business and technology organizations.
