Job summary

Dave & Buster's Inc. is seeking a Technical Delivery Manager to drive successful delivery across multiple cross-functional squads. You will identify and remove impediments, track dependencies, and provide transparency on targets and progress.

You will partner with QA and API teams to ensure timely, quality deployments through CI/CD, while coaching teams toward better collaboration and outcomes. This role is based on-site in Coppell, TX.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a Project Manager, Delivery Manager or related role on large enterprise projects.
• 3+ years experience with both Onshore & Offshore development teams.
• 3+ years experience with API development teams.
• 2+ years experience validating APIs using Postman, JMeter, SoapUI or equivalent tool.

Responsibilities

• Identify impediments early and resolve them, escalating when needed.
• Track cross-team dependencies and high-integrity commitments.
• Provide proactive visibility on delivery targets, commitments, and progress.
• Minimize meetings while ensuring efficient, well-run ceremonies.

The Technical Delivery Manager works to ensure the team’s success in delivery, primarily by helping to identify and especially remove impediments impacting the team’s ability to deliver. The Delivery Manager supports multiple cross-functional product teams (squads), and serves as the Scrum Master for each of those product teams.

The Technical Delivery Manager works to ensure the team’s success in delivery, primarily by helping to identify and especially remove impediments impacting the team’s ability to deliver. The Delivery Manager supports multiple cross-functional product teams (squads), and serves as the Scrum Master for each of those product teams.

Responsibilities

• Constantly looking to identify impediments early, actively working to resolve those impediments, and escalates when needed.
• Management and tracking of cross team/squad dependencies.
• Management and tracking of all high-integrity commitments.
• Provides proactive visibility and effectively communicates delivery targets, commitments and progress.
• Works to minimize meetings and ceremonies, but when they are needed, they are well-run and efficient.
• Works with QA Engineers to ensure quality work is delivered in a timely manner.
• Ensure smooth quality deployments through the CI/CD pipelines.
• Encourages a culture of team-driven decision making and commitment. Encourages team trust and facilitates team building events.
• Where appropriate, coaches the teams to improve collaboration and outcomes (coaching is the primary responsibility of teams’ managers)
• Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to multiple development languages such as Java, JavaScript, C#, Python, Rust, or other modern languages
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification
• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business or equivalent professional experience or qualifications
