Technical Content Engineer- Process Automation

As a technical content creator, you will work with the latest products, ensuring our messaging aligns with go-to-market strategies.

This role involves building trials, demos, digital experiences, and event content, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver consistent messaging and accessible platforms. Your experience with Siemens products, customer interaction, video creation/editing, storytelling, and eagerness to learn will be vital.

This position is remote, based anywhere within the continental United States.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating technical content and demos addressing real-world problems, showcasing Siemens solutions.
  • Developing demonstration assets to communicate technical messages effectively.
  • Installing and configuring products in demo environments for global events and sales.
  • Supporting internal teams such as PreSales, Partners, Marketing, Strategy, and Sales with content.

Qualifications:

Basic:

  • Bachelor’s in electronics, automation, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years in control and automation system design using Siemens solutions.
  • Experience with at least two Siemens solutions from: TIA Portal, WinCC Professional, WinCC Unified, gPROMS, COMOS, XHQ, SIMIT, PCS7, PCS neo, SISTAR, SIPAT, industrial protocols (Profinet, Profibus, Modbus, OPC, MQTT).
  • Experience integrating automation with IT systems through projects or hands-on work.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Preferred:

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with industrial IoT solutions like Insights Hub, Siemens software (Opcenter, Teamcenter, NX), AWS platforms.
  • Experience with the sales lifecycle and customer-focused technology marketing.

Benefits include: Comprehensive health and wellness benefits. Salary range: $109,100 - $147,200 with a 10% annual incentive, depending on experience and location.
