Introduction

Purpose

Project/Operational Managers or Workstream/Project Leaders apply in-depth knowledge, advanced problem solving skills, and an awareness of internal and client priorities to implement project scope and client objectives. They develop conclusions from analyses and apply results to client-specific contexts, often defining new approaches to complex challenges. They work with greater independence, leading larger workstreams, developing internal team members, and managing client relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Accountability for smaller assignments/projects, including team and client engagement, setting expectations, and driving accountability.
  • Interface with clients at higher levels, managing relationships and supporting account management.
  • Responsible for a portion of project revenue, understanding its impact on current and future revenue.
  • Interface with other workstreams and management, proactively setting priorities.
  • Break down and structure complex problems independently.
  • Work independently with complex assignments, updating project leads on progress.
  • Conflict resolution and negotiation, influencing organizational direction, and developing others.
  • Effectively communicate complex proposals and reports to senior management, persuading and influencing others.
Qualifications

What you will bring:

  • Experienced Power engineer (ME preferred).
  • Cognizant of diverse Power technologies.
  • Experience in Owner's Engineering Services, managing clients.
  • Construction or commissioning experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of project scheduling, Primavera.
  • Flexible, analytical, and techno-economic modeling skills.
  • Team player with remote team management skills.
  • HSE awareness, project budgeting, and proposal drafting skills.
  • Contractual knowledge of project contracting.
