Job summary

WorkGenius Group is seeking a Technical Compliance Specialist in Culver City, CA to lead privacy programs across product, design and marketing. You will translate GDPR, CCPA, and DMA into concrete processes, controls, and data governance framework, collaborating with Legal, Engineering and Marketing teams.

The role requires 5-7+ years in privacy or technical compliance, with strong stakeholder communication and hands-on experience with SQL, Spark, and LLM-based web app development.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of program or project management experience in privacy, security, data governance, or technical compliance.
• Strong understanding of GDPR, CCPA, DMA, privacy-by-design, data minimization, purpose limitation, encryption, access controls.
• Experience withISO 27701 and NIST Privacy Framework is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support AI/ML integration into automated marketing communications and consumer-facing applications while identifying risks and communicating recommendations to leadership.

• Use LLMs to develop and maintain internal web applications, including prompt development, code validation, database integration, and deployment.
• Support AI/ML integration into automated marketing communications and consumer-facing applications while identifying risks, improving compliance workflows, and communicating recommendations to leadership.

Requirements

• 5-7+ years of program or project management experience in privacy, security, data governance, or technical compliance, with strong stakeholder and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of GDPR, CCPA, DMA, privacy-by-design, data minimization, purpose limitation, encryption, access controls, and privacy frameworks such as ISO 27701 and the NIST Privacy Framework.
• Technical fluency in systems architecture, databases, data retrieval, SQL, and Spark, with hands-on experience using LLMs for web application development, code testing, database integration, deployment, and output validation.
• Experience leading AI/ML integration projects for automated marketing messaging or consumer-facing applications and collaborating across privacy, legal, engineering, product, and compliance teams.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative or technical discipline preferred; AWS/GCP, data governance, incident response, or certifications such as CIPT, CIPP/US, or CISM are advantageous.
