Wright Water Engineers (WWE) is seeking a versatile and detail-oriented Technical Communications & Marketing Specialist to support our engineering and consulting professionals through marketing, communications, proposal development, technical editing, and digital media management. This position plays a critical role in maintaining our brand, producing high-quality client-facing materials, supporting business development efforts, and ensuring consistent communications across multiple platforms.
Marketing & Business Development
- Develop, edit, and coordinate proposals, statements of qualifications (SOQs), and other business development materials.
- Track requests for proposals (RFPs) and requests for qualifications (RFQs).
- Maintain marketing materials including project cut sheets, qualification statements, and promotional documents.
- Coordinate company sponsorships, conference participation, and trade show exhibits.
- Order and manage branded merchandise, promotional items, and company apparel.
- Assist with annual calendar and special publication projects.
Communications
- Produce and coordinate company newsletter and internal communications.
- Manage company social media channels including LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.
- Work with engineering staff to develop content that promotes company projects, accomplishments, services, and culture.
- Track communication and marketing metrics and recommend improvements.
- Maintain and refine brand and style standards.
Graphic Design & Multimedia
- Design marketing pieces, advertisements, presentations, and digital content.
- Create and update templates for reports, resumes, newsletters, and other company documents.
- Record, edit, and publish short videos for marketing and communication purposes.
- Support the transition of legacy templates and publications into updated formats.
Website & Digital Media Management
- Maintain company websites and web content.
- Coordinate updates to project and program websites.
- Ensure online content remains current, functional, and consistent with branding standards.
- Support search engine optimization and website analytics efforts.
Technical Editing & Writing
- Edit technical reports, professional papers, and client deliverables for clarity, consistency, formatting, and quality.
- Assist staff with document formatting and Microsoft Word best practices.
- Review documents for accessibility compliance.
- Maintain staff resumes and qualification materials.
Administrative Support
- Assist with organization and management of marketing files and digital assets.
- Provide general office and communications support as needed.
- Collaborate with staff across departments on special projects and organizational initiatives.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English, Graphic Design, Public Relations, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Preferred
- Experience supporting engineering, architecture, environmental, consulting, or professional services firms.
- Adobe InDesign experience.
- Graphic design skills.
- Social media marketing experience.
- Video recording and editing experience.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and document compliance requirements.

- Full-time position in Denver office with a salary range of $73,000 - 87,000 (commensurate with experience, education, and skills) plus a discretionary quarterly bonus program.
