Nightwing is seeking a Technical Collections Engineer, Jr. level who will work with cross-functional teams to develop, analyze and interpret signals data, using Linux, cloud services and automation tools.

The ideal candidate will have a BS in computer science or related field (or 4+ years of relevant experience), and must possess Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph clearance; strong Linux admin skills and teamwork are essential for success in this fast-paced, defense-focused environment in Sterling,

Nightwing is seeking a Technical Collections Engineer, Jr. level. An ideal candidate will have basic Linux operating experience to include troubleshooting technical issues. The Technical Collections Engineer, Jr. level will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop, analyze and interpret signals data.

Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph

Required Skills

• Working level knowledge of:
  • TCP/IP and OSI network models
  • Linux systems administration
  • Cloud-based services
  • Automation tools and scripting languages such as Bash or Python
• Proven ability to work well in a collaborative team environment

Desired Skills

• Prior experience as a military Signal Collections Analyst or Information Technology Administrator
• Experience in signals analysis, network analysis or related field
• Experience with virtualization technologies
• Prior experience with SIGINT collection systems.
• Working knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts

Education And Experience

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or other technical fields of study. In lieu of technical degree, and four (4) years relevant experience
• In lieu of a degree, relevant military experience can be applied

Salary & Benefits

The salary associated with this position ($64,000-$128,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate's qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise. Compensation will be determined based on these factors to ensure alignment with skills, responsibilities, and market standards.
