Job summary

Nightwing is seeking a highly capable system administrator to support mission operations in the Dulles area. The role focuses on system administration and supporting signals collection and collaboration for customers. Training is provided, and there is no shift work.

Candidates should have either SIGINT or system administrator experience or be willing to learn the complementary skill set. Clearance required: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph.

Nightwing is seeking technical support for a mission operations team. The mission operations team will require a team member to perform system administration skills and support signals collaboration, collection, and management. The right candidate will possess either the signals protocols or the system administrator experience, but if not, they will be willing to learn the complementing skill to complete the skill combination. As a member of this highly qualified team, the right candidate will support systems and the systems’ user base and signals collection. Customer specific training is required and provided, as well as on the job training. This position does not consist of shift work and the location is in the Dulles airport area.

CLEARANCE LEVEL-Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph

Required Skills

Technical competency in one of the following:

• SIGNT collection/analysis/protocol
• Cyber Security
• Network Engineering/Security
• Information Technology
• Broad knowledge of hardware maintenance and care, system administration, knowledge of automation technologies, and scripting
• Protocol analysis, signals analysis, network troubleshooting, network traffic characterization, and network security and analysis
• Prior experience of collection management
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software
• Excellent communication skills
• Willingness and ability to learn new skills

Desired Skills

• Demonstrated experience providing system maintenance and health monitoring
• Background in SIGINT collection
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a small team
• Education and Experience

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree and at least five (5) years relevant experience
• Direct relevant and military experience can be applied in lieu of a degree
