Job summary

NyproMold, a Jabil business unit, seeks a Technical Business Unit Associate to coordinate between leadership, program management and engineering. You will assist with daily BU operations and serve as a technical customer-facing team member, supporting spares management and process improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will gain hands-on experience in business operations, project coordination, and strategic development, with clear opportunities for growth within NyproMold.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Plastics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Experience with ERP and CRM software is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with detail orientation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to summarize data for managers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate between leadership, program management, and engineering to support BU operations.
• Assist with asset lifecycle and spare parts planning; help with proposal development.
• Monitor projects, manage BOMs, and ensure customer-specific requirements are met.
• Support marketing materials, market opportunities, and growth initiatives.

Position Overview

The Technical Business Unit Associate plays a key role in coordinating between leadership, program management, and engineering teams within the NyproMold Business Unit (BU). This position supports daily BU operations and serves as a technical customer-facing team member, working closely with senior principal tooling engineers to operational clients servicing their asset lifecycle spares management needs. In parallel, the role will support the operational needs of other books of business within the Business Unit by coordinating internal activities, maintaining business processes, and helping improve overall organizational efficiency. Key Responsibilities

• Support the Sr. Business Unit Director and Technical (BU) Managers & Coordinators in daily operations.
• Support asset lifecycle management by communicating with clients to understand spare component needs, interpreting technical requirements, coordinating internally across relevant teams, and assisting with proposal development.
• Over time, develop the knowledge and experience necessary to independently manage spares within the BU.
• Develop a strong understanding of mold basics, metrology/CMM inspection, and application through training and hands on use.
• Build on an established business plan aimed at achieving spares revenue & profit contribution objectives.
• Identify, target & engage customers that fit account profile.
• Coordinate with leadership, program managers, and engineers to help manage project plans, reports, BOMs, and customer-specific requirements.
• Maintain regular communication with project teams to ensure transactions align with customer satisfaction and project performance goals.
• Contribute to business development, including market opportunity identification and growth strategies.
• Support NyproMold’s marketing initiatives, materials, and website to enhance global brand recognition and footprint along with tracking budget.
• Assist in project management and customer relationship initiatives (NDAs, UX, NPS, Customer Website Portal, etc.).
• Update company presentations, forecasts, quote records, team spending.
• Handle general office administrative tasks such as but not limited to: data entry, health & safety, visits/travel, documentation, customer swag, etc.
• Monitor ongoing project activities, address challenges, and escalate issues as needed.
• Lead or assist with other projects as assigned by the BUD & leadership and deemed necessary.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Plastics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, scientific discipline, or a related field is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Some experience in Google Analytics and PPC marketing (Google Ads, Bing, etc.) is beneficial
• Some experience in Adobe Suite and B2B marketing experience, is beneficial
• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including basic/intermediate math (ratios, percentages, etc.).
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to collect, analyze, and summarize data sets to present findings effectively to managers, colleagues, and customers.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges, independently and collaboratively.

• Ability to stand and/or sit for extended periods.

Work Environment

This position operates in a precision manufacturing environment and requires adherence to all company safety policies and procedures. Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn as required.
