eNGINE is seeking a Technical Business Systems Analyst to support a client in the Pittsburgh area. This individual will play a key role in gathering and documenting business requirements, establishing structured testing practices, and ensuring enterprise technology solutions meet business needs. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of technical business analysis and quality assurance experience, with strong SQL skills and hands‑on experience developing test plans, managing requirements traceability, and coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT).

Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and technical requirements in collaboration with stakeholders and development teams.
• Translate business requirements into detailed test plans, test cases, acceptance criteria, and testing documentation.
• Establish and maintain requirements traceability to ensure test cases align with documented business needs.
• Coordinate and facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT), working closely with business users to validate system functionality.
• Utilize SQL to perform data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting across enterprise applications and integrations.
• Develop and execute functional, integration, regression, and data validation testing.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution.
• Support enterprise system implementations, ERP initiatives, application integrations, and data migration projects.
• Leverage Azure DevOps (ADO) for requirements management, test planning, defect tracking, and reporting.
• Collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
• Contribute to the development of standardized QA processes, testing documentation, and best practices.
• Provide guidance and training to team members and business users on testing processes and tools.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in technical business analysis, quality assurance, software testing, or a related role.
• Strong experience gathering and documenting requirements and translating them into testable scenarios.
• Hands‑on experience developing formal test plans, test cases, and requirements traceability documentation.
• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis, validation, and reconciliation.
• Experience coordinating UAT and working directly with business stakeholders.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), testing methodologies, and defect management processes.
• Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar requirements and test management tools preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and introduce process improvements.
• Experience supporting ERP implementations, system integrations, or data migrations is preferred.
• Background in transportation, logistics, field services, or operational business systems is a plus.
