Job summary

Security Equipment Supply, Inc. (SES) is seeking a technically minded Business Analyst I to bridge business needs with technology solutions across ERP, automation, and third-party integrations.

You will gather requirements, craft user stories, and support integrations to improve processes and data flow. The role emphasizes ownership, proactive problem solving, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with limited oversight in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Finance, IT, Data Analytics, or related field.
• Experience in business analysis, technical analysis, systems, ERP, or a related role.
• Strong organizational, analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Experience managing multiple priorities in an enterprise environment.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies preferred.
• Basic knowledge of API testing and authentication protocols.
• Experience with technical documentation and data manipulation.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and ecommerce platforms preferred.
• Experience with Power Platform, Boomi, or Docentric is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between internal departments, technology partners, and vendors.
• Gather, analyze, document, and translate business requirements into clear technical requirements.
• Develop and manage user stories throughout the development lifecycle.
• Support integrations using Power Platform and Boomi (iPaaS).
• Build, test, and roll out business templates through Docentric.
• Test ERP updates, integrations, and automations for accuracy and security.
• Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and coordinate solutions.
• Document business processes, workflows, system designs, and process improvements.
• Identify pain points and develop practical technology-enabled solutions.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities while meeting deadlines.
• Work with stakeholders and vendors to move projects forward to resolution.
