Job summary

JSM Consulting Inc. is seeking a Systems Business Analyst (Consultant) to bridge business needs with product execution and technical delivery.

You will partner with business stakeholders, Product Teams, IT, vendors, and implementation partners to analyze processes, define requirements, and coordinate delivery across complex Legal, Safety, and Risk platforms. You will support discovery, backlog management, solution definition, system integrations, Agile execution, testing, and deployment

Qualifications

Experience in BA, Product Analysis, or delivery roles.
Ability to collaborate with business, technology, vendor, and leadership groups.
Experience creating BRD/FRD, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, Data Mapping, and Integration Requirements.
Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile delivery, and enterprise app implementations.
Experience with product delivery tools: JIRA, Azure DevOps Boards, Confluence.
Experience analyzing enterprise integrations: REST APIs, SOAP, SFTP, Middleware, Batch Interfaces.
Experience with data concepts: SQL, Oracle databases, ETL, Data Migration.
Understanding of security concepts: Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), SAML SSO, IAM, RBAC.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders, Product Teams, IT, vendors, and implementation partners to support delivery of enterprise technology solutions.
Facilitate discovery sessions and stakeholder discussions to understand objectives and requirements.
Perform end-to-end BA including current/future state design, gap analysis, process optimization, and workflow documentation.
Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and integration specs.
Support product orchestration by coordinating priorities, dependencies, risks, milestones, and deliverables across workstreams.
Maintain and refine product backlogs; ensure JIRA items are structured, prioritized, traceable, and aligned with delivery objectives.
Partner with development teams throughout the SDLC to clarify requirements, support implementation, validate solutions, and ensure business readiness.
Analyze system integrations, data flows, interfaces, and dependencies across enterprise apps, APIs, SFTP, middleware, and batch processes.
Work with architects and engineers to support scalable application designs, integrations, security models, and technical solution alignment.
Develop process flows, system diagrams, integration workflows, and solution documentation using Visio, Miro, and Lucidchart.
Support Agile delivery activities including backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos, release planning, retrospectives, and delivery tracking.
Coordinate testing activities including SIT/UAT planning, test case development, defect triage, validation, and business acceptance.
Perform SQL-based analysis, data validation, root cause investigation, and troubleshooting to support enhancements and issue resolution.
Support vendor coordination by tracking deliverables, reviewing documentation, managing action items, and ensuring alignment with business and technical expectations.
Prepare project documentation, meeting materials, decision logs, executive summaries, and status reporting.
Identify risks, dependencies, blockers, and process improvement opportunities while supporting timely resolution.
