Sotalent is seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst to join our Washington DC technology consulting team. You will support a federal Chief Information Officer, lead strategic roadmaps, and oversee a diverse portfolio of technology initiatives across the full project lifecycle. You will translate requirements, manage risks, coordinate with vendors, and brief executive leadership.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens, able to obtain a Public Trust clearance, and possess PMP or eligibility with 8+

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience managing or supporting large scale technology projects.
• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory for contract compliance.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust clearance.
• Must have a PMP certification or the ability to earn one.
• Demonstrated experience with enterprise systems, IT service management, and change requests.
• Strong background in translating complex technical needs into actionable business requirements.
• Proven track record of managing project schedules and escalating risks effectively.

My client is looking for a seasoned professional to support a federal Chief Information Officer in modernizing operations and overseeing a diverse portfolio of technology initiatives.

In this role, you will lead the creation of strategic roadmaps and project plans for complex system integrations. You will serve as a primary advisor to client leadership, helping to define project priorities, resource needs, and timelines. The position involves the full project lifecycle, from initial requirement gathering across multiple stakeholder groups to final delivery and closeout. You will also be responsible for identifying technical risks, coordinating with vendors, and delivering high level briefings to executive leadership.

This position is based in Washington DC and does not require travel. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance before starting.

The salary for this position ranges from 113,000 to 188,000 dollars annually, depending on experience, certifications, and clearance level.
