Job Title: Technical Operations Specialist

Overview

We’re hiring 2–3 Technical Operations Specialists for a remote, contract-to-hire opportunity. This is a blended Business/Data Analyst role supporting system operations, EDI processes, and data flow for healthcare clients. High performers may convert to full-time roles.

Preference for candidates based in Chicago or New Orleans for occasional in-person collaboration or proximity to team hubs.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and troubleshoot data file flows (eligibility, claims, import/export)
• Analyze and resolve EDI-related issues (834, 837, 835, etc.)
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather and clarify requirements
• Support implementation of new client data and workflow updates
• Translate business needs into actionable technical solutions
• Communicate task status and updates to stakeholders
• Perform related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 2+ years in data/system analysis or process improvement
• 1+ years in healthcare or TPA environment
• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred

Skills

• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
• Experience with SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools
• Familiarity with ANSI 5010 EDI transactions (837, 835, 834, 270/271)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements
• Fully remote with virtual team collaboration
• Contract-to-hire path with potential for full-time conversion
• Candidates in Chicago or New Orleans preferred
