Your role as AI Technical Business Analyst

You will lead the analysis and coordination of AI solution development projects. You will analyze workflows impacted by AI, document business requirements, liaise with technical teams, and manage testing and validation. Your work ensures AI solutions—including those involving LLMs and AI Agents—align with business needs and quality standards.

How you’ll contribute

• Map and analyze current-state workflows to identify AI enhancement opportunities
• Evaluate inefficiencies and determine where AI, especially LLMs and Agents, can be applied
• Collaborate with business owners to define goals and use cases
• Translate needs into Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)
• Define functional, data, and success metrics for AI integration
• Liaise between stakeholders and AI/ML developers, ensuring clarity and alignment
• Develop test plans for functional and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Validate AI outputs, coordinate testing, and manage issue resolution
• Support agile ceremonies and change management activities

Your skills and approach

• Expertise in workflow mapping (e.g., BPMN, Visio, Lucidchart)
• Proven ability to draft effective BRDs and use case documentation
• Familiarity with AI/ML lifecycle and solutioning
• Working knowledge of LLMs, prompt engineering, agent workflows, and RAG systems
• Technical ability to validate APIs, assess AI output, and manage data pipelines
• Proficient with tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, and test management platforms
• Excellent communicator who can present technical ideas clearly to business stakeholders
• Experience in facilitating workshops, stakeholder interviews, and demos
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field
• 3-5 years experience in business or systems analysis
• Certifications in CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile methodologies are a plus

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $100,000-$150,000/year. Actual salary will be determined based on a variety of factors, including the candidate’s relevant work experience, certifications, education, and geographic location. Please note that the range listed applies specifically to this position and may vary for other roles.
