Responsibilities

• Provide first-line IT support for Regulatory Compliance and Legal business systems.
• Run daily checks on automated feeds; identify and resolve errors.
• Assist business users with troubleshooting reports and data issues.
• Deliver processes and technology solutions to increase regulatory compliance and legal efficiency.
• Collect and document business needs, coordinate design reviews; liaise between technology and business units.
• Perform complex analysis projects; present solutions, rationale, issues, and trade-offs.
• Provide documentation to developers for builds and customizations.
• Perform data analysis and profiling; identify data quality issues.
• Collaborate with data owners and SMEs to identify data resources.
• Perform application configuration and manage system releases/upgrades.

We are working with a leading alternative asset manager seeking a well-rounded Technical Business Analyst to focus on system enhancement delivery, management, and support. The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, can work independently, and communicates clearly with both business and technology stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide first-line IT support for Regulatory Compliance and Legal business systems
• Run daily checks on automated feeds; identify and resolve errors
• Assist business users with troubleshooting reports and identifying data issues
• Deliver process and technology solutions aimed at increasing Regulatory Compliance and Legal process efficiency
• Collect, review, and document business needs, requirements, user documentation, and process flows; coordinate design reviews; serve as a liaison between technology and business units
• Perform complex analysis projects and clearly articulate and present solutions, rationale, issues, and trade-offs
• Provide technical developers with the documentation needed to perform application builds and customizations
• Perform data analysis and profiling activities; identify and resolve data gap and quality issues
• Collaborate with data source and target system owners and subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify appropriate data resources
• Perform application configuration and manage system releases/upgrades
• Develop and execute QA/test scripts

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst within a financial institution
• Demonstrated experience gathering, documenting, and translating business requirements into functional/technical specifications
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively between business and technology teams
• Ability to produce clear documentation (process flows, user guides, technical requirements) for both business and technical audiences
