Job summary

CFS in Madison, WI is seeking a Technical Business Analyst for a permanent role. You will collaborate with business stakeholders to understand challenges, gather requirements, and translate them into user stories and functional specs for delivery teams.

This role focuses on mapping current and future processes, identifying inefficiencies, and partnering with developers, QA, and product owners to ensure clear acceptance criteria and successful implementation.

Qualifications

• Must be able to gather requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and documentation analysis.
• Experience translating business needs into user stories, functional requirements, and process flows.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and how requirements move from discovery through delivery.

Responsibilities

• Meet with business stakeholders to understand operational challenges, goals, and process requirements.
• Lead requirements-gathering sessions and document clear, actionable business and functional requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE Technical Business Analyst

• Meet with business stakeholders to understand operational challenges, goals, and process requirements.

• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and how business requirements move from discovery through delivery.
• Experience analyzing business processes, identifying gaps, and recommending practical solutions.
• Experience facilitating meetings, driving decisions, and following up on action items across multiple stakeholders.
