Qualifications

  • Three years of experience in a Business Analyst or Project Management role with responsibility for business process analysis, requirements gathering, project coordination, data reporting, process improvement, and stakeholder collaboration.
  • Experience using KPIs, reporting tools, and data-driven decision making.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Power BI, Azure, and Microsoft 365 tools is preferred.

Scope of Position

Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates technology, business processes, and user needs and documents findings. With the goal of improving organizational collaboration, workflow, efficiency, and effectiveness, this role works closely with departments and leadership to identify needs, develop solutions, and lead approved projects through implementation. Being involved in various process improvement and system enhancement initiatives, responsibilities include analyzing business requirements, developing detailed documentation, preparing reports and performance metrics, supporting project planning and prioritization, and coordinating activities throughout the project lifecycle. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills are essential to evaluate business needs, identify process improvement opportunities, and implement effective solutions. Success in this role requires the ability to leverage data analysis, KPI measurement, reporting, business process management, and project coordination to support operational excellence and informed decision-making. Essential Job Functions
Salesforce Administrator
  • Maintain functional areas of Salesforce custom objects, dashboards, and reports.
  • Assigns user roles, security, and profiles in adherence with SOPs.
  • Develop and maintain system metrics to track trends in usage and data integrity.
  • Routinely perform database cleanup procedures.
  • Develop reports and dashboards to continuously monitor data quality and integrity.
User Support Specialist
  • Drive and increase customer adoption to ensure satisfaction.
  • Train internal and external users on how to use system features and processes.
  • Elicit continuous system and process improvement requirements using cross-departmental workshops, use cases, process documentation, business analysis, and task and workflow analysis.
  • Provide prompt and complete resolution to technical challenges and business issues.
  • Manage ongoing support requests and administrative needs of users.
Project Management and Reporting
  • Manage program requests through planning, prioritization, stakeholder coordination, and progress tracking.
  • Analyze data, KPIs, and performance metrics to support decision-making and process improvement.
  • Prepare and communicate project updates, risks, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure project requirements, timelines, and deliverables are achieved.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, business requirements, decisions, and performance reports.
  • Facilitate project meetings, requirements sessions, and process improvement discussions.
  • Research and recommend business process and technology solutions.
  • Maintain proficiency in project management, reporting, and business intelligence tools such as Excel, Power BI, Azure, Microsoft Project, and Salesforce.
  • Stay current on best practices and emerging trends in business analysis, project management, reporting, and process improvement.
Overall functions
  • Make recommendations for enhancements and modifications to improve system performance, efficiency, internal business process, and reporting.
  • Adhere to format, content, and style guidelines, giving consideration to usability, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and quality.
  • Follow AFMC, state and federal protocols regarding data confidentiality / security and HIPAA compliance.
  • Communicate needs and requests to other team members as appropriate.
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend business process and technology solutions to address organizational needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to gather requirements, facilitate process improvements, and achieve project objectives.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stay informed on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in business analysis, project management, reporting, and process improvement.
  • Represent AFMC at meetings, conferences, and other functions assigned.

Job Requirements

Education

Required: Bachelor’s degree in statistics, health informatics, information systems, business, or finance related field.

Experience

Required: Three (3) years of experience in a Business Analyst or Project Management role with responsibility for business process analysis, requirements gathering, project coordination, data reporting, process improvement, and stakeholder collaboration. Experience managing multiple projects, utilizing KPIs and reporting tools, and supporting business process improvements through data analysis and technology solutions.
