Job summary

Amazon in Herndon, VA is seeking a Technical Program Manager III to own data intake for DC design products, gate BOM translatability, and drive end-to-end product introduction from concept through PLM registration and BOM integration.

You will collaborate with Design Engineering, BIM Design Managers, and BOM leads and own CAD-to-PLM governance, ensuring data integrity and standardized processes across the BOM lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 5+ years collaborating with engineering teams.
• Deep knowledge of BOM management and lifecycle.
• 5+ years hands-on experience with Autodesk Revit.

Responsibilities

• CAD/BIM Data Extraction & Model Governance: extract and validate BOMs from CAD/BIM models and structure metadata for PLM.
• Data Governance & Process Development: define data standards, governance frameworks, and SOPs for the CAD-to-PLM pipeline.
• New Product Introduction (NPI): drive end-to-end product intro through phase-gates and PLM registration.
• Design Intake & Impact Analysis: own the intake point for new DC designs and analyze BOM impact across systems.
