Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Technical Program Manager III, BIM-PLM Integration to own data intake for new DC design products within Design Services.

You will gatekeeper evaluate designs for BOM translatability, collaborate on Engineering changes and ad hoc requests, and drive end-to-end product introduction from concept through PLM registration. The role spans CAD/BIM data extraction, PLM data structuring, ECO/ECR management, and cross-functional synchronization across BIM and PLM.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 5+ years collaborating directly with engineering teams.
• Experience managing cross-functional programs and release schedules.
• Deep BOM management knowledge (150% BOM architecture, lifecycle).
• 5+ years hands-on with Autodesk Revit (family authoring, shared parameters).
• Proven QA frameworks to prevent downstream data issues.

Responsibilities

• CAD/BIM Data Extraction & Model Governance: extract and validate Engineering BOMs from CAD/BIM models, auditing readiness and structuring sub-assemblies.
• Data Governance & Process Development: define data standards, author governance frameworks and SOPs for CAD-to-PLM, drive cycle-time improvements.
• New Product Introduction (NPI): drive end-to-end product intro through gates, evaluate DC designs for BOM translatability and PLM registration.
• Design Intake & Impact Analysis: own the intake point for new DC designs, classify changes, and maintain an intake registry through PLM.
