Job summary

Kreher Family Farms seeks a Technical Associate at our Wayne County Eggs Farm in Wolcott, NY to learn to fix, install and maintain electrical components on farm equipment. You’ll join a cohesive team and contribute to reliable operations.

Typical hours are 40+ per week with some weekend work; schedules include Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday. Comfort around computers and eager to learn are essential for this hands-on role.

Qualifications

• Must be comfortable working around computers.
• Some experience is preferred with a willingness to learn more about farm electrical systems.
• Familiarity with motor power, control circuits, and wiring is plus.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to fix, install and maintain electrical components on the farm.
• Assist with repairs, installations, and inspections of electrical conduits, raceways, and wires.

Available schedules:Sunday - Thursday or Tuesday - Saturday.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be comfortable working around computers.
• Some existing experience, and a willingness to learn more of the following:
• Motor power, and control circuits
• VFD and PLC circuits and components
• Breaker panels, and lighting circuits
• Communications networks such as; Ethernet, Modbus,
• Repairs and installations of conduits raceways, and wires/conductors

Desired but not required:

• Plumbing
• Boiler/hot water/ ventilation computers.
