Job summary

Computer Software & Solutions International, LLC (CSSI) is seeking a software developer to design, develop, and debug enterprise-grade software in a Windows/.NET environment. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent coursework and experience required.
• At least 2+ years of real-world software development with C#/.NET, MS SQL Server, and Visual Studio.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and debug enterprise grade software


• Comprehensive understanding of object-oriented and service-oriented application development techniques and theories


• Identify the root cause of an issue quickly and assist the team with resolution


• Develop appropriate documents required for the components/modules which include Architect, Sequential Diagrams, Training Documents, Technical Presentations and Integration Documents.


• Deliver logical analysis and conclusions based upon accurate business understanding


• Multi-task a varying number of activities and to properly prioritize activities to meet business expectations


• Translate requirements into actionable tasks


• Fix issues of the project based on need


• Excellent analysis, critical thinking and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail and a methodical work style


• Communicate effectively with both internal team members and external business partners and stakeholders.


• Perform the required research on the tasks assigned and come up with possible solutions and present those to the project team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, or equivalent coursework and experience, required


• At least 2+ years of proven, real-world experience as a software developer using Microsoft Visual Studio, MS SQL Server and C# .NET


• Prior experience conducting code and technical reviews


• Experience in the insurance industry a very strong plus

• Must possess a highly developed ability to internalize business rules and connect-the-dots between systems, concepts and industry terms


• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to document accurately and thoroughly
