Job summary

Entravision is seeking a hands-on Technical Assistant to support our live news and streaming productions in Miami. You will operate the teleprompter, serve as Floor Manager, and assist the Technical Director with control-room and studio operations.

You’ll coordinate incoming remote guests and signals, perform pre-air checks, and troubleshoot issues during live broadcasts. Spanish language skills are strongly preferred, and flexible hours are required.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of teleprompter operations and live television production workflows.
• Familiarity with TPM and Floor Manager responsibilities.
• Basic understanding of video, audio, IFB, remote connections and live signals.
• Technically curious and comfortable learning new broadcast and streaming technologies.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay focused in a fast-paced live environment.
• Reliable, proactive, and willing to jump in wherever needed.
• Understanding of Spanish is strongly preferred.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours during breaking news or special coverage.

Summary

Entravision AHORA is looking for a Technical Assistant to support our live news and streaming productions. This is a hands-on position for someone with knowledge of teleprompter operations, technical production coordination (TPM), and floor management, who is eager to learn, grow, and take on additional responsibilities within a modern broadcast environment.
