Job summary

Entravision Las Vegas seeks a Digital Content Producer to create and update text, audio, graphic and video content for its interactive properties on web, mobile and streaming platforms.

You will work with the newsroom and promotions teams to secure content, update local pages and improve engagement and monetization with strong attention to accuracy and storytelling.

Qualifications

• Excellent creative writing and proofreading; ability to write in English and Spanish and translate.
• Basic graphic design skills.
• Familiar with all mainstream social media platforms.
• Experience using software for image, picture/audio/video editing to create online graphics and content.
• Experience with online video production software like Adobe Premiere/After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Motion, and iMovie.
• Experience working with content in a CMS such as WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, Movable Type, or similar.
• Basic HTML/CSS knowledge to create web content and experience with HTML editors.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Entravision Interactive Team, Local News Directors, News Reporters, Producers, Promotions and Sales as needed.
• Identify, secure, prepare and update News content Online, Mobile, and Social Network.
• Perform daily updates of sites including local news, slideshows, text, audio, video, galleries, and events.
• Monitor KPI metrics like uniques, visits, page-views, time on site, pages per visit, and bounce rates; drive traffic and engagement.

Digital Content Producer

Las Vegas, NV | Full Time

Summary

The Digital Content Producer is responsible for creating, securing and updating quality text, audio, graphic and video content for designated Entravision interactive properties web, mobile, and video/streaming as well as supporting all company-wide interactive initiatives.

Essential Functions

• Work and coordinate with the Entravision Interactive Team, Local News Directors, News Reporters and Producers, Promotions and Sales as needed and directed.
• Identify, secure, prepare and update News content Online, Mobile, and Social Network
• Perform daily updates of sites including, but not limited to: Local news, slideshows, text, audio, video, local organizations, photo galleries, local events, local special categories, and other online content.
• Monitor and improve KPI (Key Performance Indicators) like uniques, visits, page-views, and average time on site, pages per visit, lower bounce rates, social friends and followers. Online, Mobile and Social. Strong focus on growing traffic, engagement, and Monetization.
• Keep content focused on relevancy for our viewers.
• Support branding, marketing and promoting our interactive properties.
• Assure content is free of errors, typos, and other spelling and grammar mistakes.
• Avoid broken links, broken images, missing content.
• Perform other duties as needed, and as directed by your News Director.
• Maintain a positive attitude towards work.
• Be viewer focused, striving to provide top-notch value, local information and entertainment to our consumers.

Required Education And Experience

• Excellent creative writing and proofreading. Be able to write in English as well as Spanish and translation skills in order to handle a large volume of content responsibilities.
• Basic graphic design skills
• Familiar with all mainstream social media platforms
• Experience using software applications for image, picture/audio/video editing software application to create online graphics, photo editing & retouching, animations and other content
• Experience working with online video production software like Adobe Premiere/After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Motion, iMovie
• Experience working with content within a CMS (Content Management System) environment such as: WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, Movable Type, or similar
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS in order to create content for the web. Including experience with HTML Editors.
