Job summary

Qnity is seeking a highly motivated Technical Area Manager to lead technical execution, process stability, and continuous improvement in a Newark, Delaware manufacturing area. You will partner with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Engineering to improve safety, quality, reliability, and performance.

This 100% onsite role requires directing a team of engineers and driving data-driven improvements, with sponsorship not available.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
5+ years in industrial manufacturing in a technical role.
Six Sigma Certification.
Experience with process control and root cause analysis.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results.
Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop Process Engineers and Equipment Engineers to build technical capability.
Drive process stability, capability, yield improvement, and scrap reduction.
Support Process Safety Management and reinforce safety standards.
Serve as technical lead for process, equipment, and quality issues; perform root cause analysis.
Lead MRB activities and process improvement projects to boost quality and throughput.
Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Commercial teams to deliver improvements.
Translate business goals into actionable execution plans for throughput and reliability.
Drive Kaizen initiatives and ensure standardized, sustainable solutions.
Support capital projects and reliability improvements to enhance manufacturing performance.
Coach teams to cultivate problem-solving at the source.
