Job summary

METTLER TOLEDO is seeking a Technical & Application Support Scientist for our Laboratory product line in the Columbus, Ohio area. You will provide technical and application support for Weighing and Analytical Instruments, moisture analyzers, weight products and LabX Software.

You will primarily support end-users, sales personnel and field service technicians by phone, document quality issues, assist with demonstrations and training, and help develop marketing materials while maintaining a safe,

Responsibilities

• Provide primary phone support to end-users, sales personnel, and field service technicians on the instrument product lines.
• Document and communicate quality issues to the appropriate teams, and facilitate resolutions for our customers.
• Perform, document, and report on laboratory experiments in support of end-users, sales personnel, and marketing.
• Properly interact with SAP software and accurately record necessary contact, product, and sales information.
• Assist with development of marketing and technical materials.
• Assist in managing the laboratory inventory and in maintaining an organized and safe laboratory.
• Assist with product and application demonstrations and training to customers, sales, service, and other lab colleagues.
• Other duties may be assigned.

METTLER TOLEDO is hiring a Technical & Application Support Scientist for our Laboratory product line in the Columbus, Ohio area who will provide technical and application support for a specific discipline of the Laboratory group: Weighing and Analytical Instruments . This specialist will work primarily with customers, but also sales, service, and marketing colleagues, to support moisture analyzers, weight products and LabX Software. Within this role, you will:

• Provide primary phone support to end-users, sales personnel, and field service technicians on the instrument product lines.
