Job summary

Teton Outfitters seeks a Technical Apparel/Gear Intern to contribute to KLIM and 509 brands. This 12-week program (May 2027–Aug 2027) in Rigby, ID offers 40 hours per week and paid hourly compensation.

Interns may support product line management, design, development, or materials, gaining hands-on experience from concept to market. You will work with mentors, join cross-functional teams, and deliver a defined product or project.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in Product Development, Technical Design, Fashion Design, Textile Development or related field.
• Intended graduation date between Aug 2027 and May 2029.
• Commit to a full 12-week internship, 40 hours per week.
• Minimum GPA 3.0.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, Word).
• Previous internship/co-op experience or relevant projects.
• Strong analytical, communication, leadership and self-motivation.
• U.S. person and relocation willingness.

Responsibilities

• Work on real product and business priorities to bring concepts to market.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for design, development, and execution of apparel or hard parts projects.
• Own a defined product or project deliverable from planning to completion.
• Build visibility through cross-team meetings and leadership reviews.
• Participate in line reviews, material selection, design reviews, fittings and other product-development activities.
• Develop connections with fellow interns through team challenges.
• Partner with a mentor outside your immediate team to learn from another part of the business.
• Present projects, contributions, and key learnings at internship end.
