CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield in Baltimore is seeking a System Analyst to deliver system and data analysis for Payment Integrity. Responsibilities include identifying gaps, collaborating with departments, and implementing system changes tailored to organizational needs.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and has at least 3 years of relevant experience. The salary range for this position is $64,944 to $128,986, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
Delivers standard system and data analysis and helps with tools and technology implementations for Payment Integrity—clinical editing. Facilitates and coordinates building, documentation, and review of system and data analysis techniques, methods, tools, processes, and systems. Facilitates and coordinates data collection capabilities through collaboration with internal and external teams. Works closely with cross‑departmental peers and internal team members.
Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, an additional four years of relevant work experience is required.
Experience: 3 years of relevant system/technical analysis.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
$64,944 – $128,986.
The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the work is being performed. This compensation range is specific and considers factors such as the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education/training, internal peer equity, and market and business consideration. In addition to compensation, CareFirst offers a comprehensive benefits package, various incentive programs/plans, and 401(k) contribution programs/plans (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
