Job summary

The Florida Department of Transportation seeks a Technical Analyst II to join the Office of Information Technology, Strategic Services in Tallahassee. You will analyze complex systems, document requirements, troubleshoot issues, and translate business needs into technical specifications while supporting servers, cloud services, and DevOps tasks.

Minimum Qualifications include five years in computer systems analysis or related fields. Posting closing date 09/04/2026.

Qualifications

Five (5) years of experience in computer systems analysis, computer programming or in planning or designing distributed computer systems.
Post-secondary education may substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.

Responsibilities

Analyze complex systems, gather and document technical requirements, troubleshoots issues, and translate business needs into functional specifications.
Test system functionality and create technical documentation for users and IT teams; create reports and extract insights for business decisions.
Support FDOT infrastructure by maintaining servers, systems, and monitoring health; assist with system and network administration.
