Tektora are supporting a mission-focused client who are looking to speak with TS/SCI Full Scope Polygraph cleared Technical AI Requirements Systems Engineers for an immediate opportunity on a mission-critical enterprise system integrating AI-enabled capabilities.

This role would suit someone who enjoys collaboratively solving challenging problems and has a track record of delivering high-quality solutions — working directly with customers, systems engineers, developers and AI solution stakeholders to make sure mission-driven software capabilities are accurately defined, built, tested and delivered.

The Role

You will be involved in:

• Supporting and assisting with the planning, design and implementation of a mission-critical system
• Working directly with customers to elicit, analyse and document detailed functional requirements
• Converting functional requirements into technical specifications
• Translating high-level requirements into actionable Jira user stories and epics for development teams
• Performing hands‑on technical execution and low‑level requirements definition
• Conducting functional testing and validation of new features
• Serving as a key technical liaison across systems engineers, software developers and domain experts
• Presenting and articulating recommended AI approaches, and discussing the tradeoffs and implications of different implementations with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Engaging tactically with the development team and participating actively in Agile delivery throughout the development lifecycle
• Identifying practical opportunities to apply emerging AI and ML capabilities to enterprise applications

Key Experience Required

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph — essential, non-negotiable
• Ability to work directly with customers to elicit, analyse and document detailed functional requirements and convert them into technical specifications
• Ability to translate high-level requirements into actionable Jira user stories and epics
• Experience conducting functional testing of application features
• Experience serving as a key technical liaison across cross‑functional teams
• Ability to present and articulate recommended AI approaches and their tradeoffs to technical and non‑technical audiences
• Awareness of modern AI/ML advancements and the ability to identify practical opportunities to apply them
• Experience designing or refining technical artefacts specifically for AI integration
• Ability to evaluate AI architectures, assess model performance and identify system‑level integration tradeoffs
• Coordinating the design and development of AI-driven solutions from conception to deployment, ensuring seamless integration with existing software architecture
• Staying current with advancements in AI and machine learning and applying new technologies and methodologies to improve existing systems
