Job summary

Daley And Associates, LLC seeks a Manager of Technical Accounting to lead, guide, and execute complex accounting matters. The role focuses on ASC 606/842, GAAP disclosures, and SEC reporting while mentoring teams and driving policy development.

The position requires a CPA with 5+ years in technical accounting, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple engagements in a hybrid New England environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA certification is required.
• 5+ years of experience in technical accounting, preferably in a public company environment.
• Strong knowledge of ASC 606, ASC 842, Pre-IPO, and SEC reporting requirements.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical accounting guidance, research standards, and prepare accounting memos.
• Review and assist with financial statements and disclosures per GAAP and SEC requirements (10-Ks, 10-Qs).
• Ensure compliance with new standards (ASC 606/842) and advise on implementation.
• Develop accounting policies and procedures; ensure adherence.
• Manage teams and engagements, overseeing staff and seniors.
