Job summary

Automation Anywhere Inc. is seeking a Manager of Technical Accounting & Reporting to lead policy evolution, ensure SOX compliance, and drive accurate investor communications. The role partners with executive leadership to translate complex accounting into actionable strategies.

The position is hybrid with regular onsite days in San Jose, CA; a US-based footprint is preferred. A CPA and Big 4 exposure are valued as part of a strong technical accounting background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
• US CPA (highly preferred).
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Big 4 audit/advisory experience or equivalent exposure.

Responsibilities

• Leading accounting policy evolution — own adoption and implementation of new standards.
• Driving technical excellence — navigate complex transactions and evolving product structures.
• Ensuring compliance excellence — design and oversee internal controls for SOX readiness.
• Crafting financial narratives — author footnotes, MD&A, and investor communications.
• Becoming the technical authority — respond to complex inquiries for all levels.
• Accelerating close cycles — lead monthly close, stock-based comp, investor reports.
• Solving novel problems — advise on new initiatives with cross-functional teams.
