Job summary

Pinterest is seeking a Financial Manager focused on Technology Infrastructure to oversee investing and cost management for our infrastructure platforms, primarily AWS. You will partner with engineering and leadership to govern investments and drive cost efficiency while enabling innovation.

You’ll apply AI-enabled forecasting, build financial models, and lead cross-functional analyses to inform strategic decisions and long-term planning across Pinners and Advertisers.

Qualifications

• Experience forecasting expenses and managing technology infrastructure spending on public cloud platforms.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to accelerate financial analysis and forecasting workflows with strong validation and ownership of final recommendations.
• Experience in managing multiple workstreams end-to-end and working across functions and teams.
• Expertise in building high-level and detailed financial models.
• Strong business partnership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Engineering, Infrastructure, and TPM teams to develop financial forecasts and investments.
• Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual variance analyses.
• Identify opportunities to automate and improve forecasting and reporting tools and processes.
• Embed AI tools into forecasting and finance decision-making to raise impact.
• Design usage prediction models for capacity and costs.
• Communicate key takeaways from strategic analyses.
