Job summary

Liftoff is a leading AI-powered performance marketing platform for the mobile app economy, headquartered in Redwood City, CA. This role focuses on technical accounting, including revenue, SBC, leases, debt, and CapSW.

You will draft memos, guide policy, and ensure accurate financial statements while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Remote-first company with global operations, offering equity, comprehensive benefits, and an OTE package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 6 years of accounting experience.
• Public accounting background, Big 4 preferred.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entry support for SBC, CapSW, debt, and other complex transactions.
• Own accounting policies and drive new standard implementations from research to disclosure.
• Own equity-related technical accounting, from grant setup to disclosures.
• Prepare statements of equity and cash flows, plus footnotes for complex areas.
• Collaborate with Legal, FP&A and business teams on new contracts and billing structures.
• Support audits with technical documentation.
