Job summary

Hoffman Mechanical Solutions, Inc. seeks a CPA-qualified Technical Accounting Lead to own complex accounting issues, ensure GAAP compliance, and support audit readiness across a multi-entity organization.

You will partner with the Controller and Accounting Manager to strengthen controls and translate technical concepts into practical business guidance. The role emphasizes independence, cross-functional collaboration, and setting standardized policies while maintaining audit-ready financials

Qualifications

• CPA certification is required.
• 5–8+ years of experience, preferably in public accounting.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and ability to research and document positions.
• Experience applying ASC 606 revenue recognition concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation and documentation of complex accounting treatments.
• Research and apply GAAP across revenue recognition, intercompany activity, consolidations, and contract analysis.
• Prepare technical accounting memos and position papers for management and auditors.
• Review monthly close outputs for GAAP compliance and accuracy.
