Job summary

Hoffman Building Technologies, Inc. seeks a CPA-qualified Technical Accounting Lead to drive GAAP compliance, complex accounting treatment, and audit readiness across a multi-entity organization in Greensboro, NC.

You will partner with the Controller and Operational Accounting Manager to ensure accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls. As an employee-owned company, we value ownership and accountability.

Qualifications

• CPA is required and strong GAAP knowledge is essential.
• 5–8+ years of experience, public accounting preferred.
• Ability to research, interpret, and document technical positions.
• Experience with ASC 606 and revenue recognition concepts.
• Experience in multi-entity environments with intercompany activity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation and documentation of complex accounting treatments.
• Prepare technical accounting memos and position papers for management and auditors.
• Review monthly close outputs for GAAP compliance, including revenue recognition.
• Strengthen internal controls and document accounting processes.
• Serve as liaison for external auditors and cross-functional partners.
