You will partner closely with the Corporate Controller, CFO and auditors on significant transactions and non-routine accounting matters.

You will own technical accounting research, prepare memos and disclosures, and guide accounting implications of acquisitions, leases, and derivatives while coordinating with the Workday

Qualifications

• Technical accounting expertise across complex transactions and guidance
• Ability to prepare memos and disclosures for significant/ non-routine matters
• Experience partnering with controllers, CFOs, auditors and business leaders

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key technical accounting resource and provide well-supported conclusions
• Prepare technical accounting memos, position papers and disclosures
• Own accounting for acquisitions, business combinations and purchase price allocations
• Collaborate with business units to ensure proper accounting treatment and reporting
• Monitor updates in accounting standards and assess impact
• Support external auditors and leadership on year-end processes
• Coordinate with Workday team to align processes with reporting objectives
• Assist with special projects and strategic accounting initiatives
