Job summary

Sensient Technologies Corporation is seeking a Technical Account Manager for the Sweet & Beverage segment, based in Hoffman Estates, IL. • Serve as a technical resource for Sensient's products, helping customers understand product capabilities, applications, and value.
• Collaborate with consultants, product development partners, development houses, and startups to introduce Sensient technologies and position our products as solutions to technical and commercial needs.

We're looking for a technically minded professional with a scientific background—preferably in food science, chemistry, chemical engineering, biology, or a related field—who has experience working directly with customers and is interested in building a career in technical sales. Whether your background is in applications, R&D, product development, quality, or another technical discipline, this role gives you the opportunity to apply your expertise in a highly visible, customer-facing position.

• You will work closely with our commercial team to develop tailored technical solutions for a diverse customer base. You'll have access to internal technical and commercial resources designed to help you build your knowledge, relationships, and success.
• You will serve as a technical resource for Sensient's products, helping customers understand product capabilities, applications, and value.
• You will collaborate with consultants, product development partners, development houses, and start-up companies to introduce Sensient technologies and position our products as solutions to their technical and commercial needs.

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or another relevant scientific discipline, with 5+ years of experience in the food and beverage industry.
  • Experience with food ingredients and food or beverage product development, supported by a strong technical foundation.

About Sensient Flavors:

The salary range for this position is$90,000 - $150,000 USD. Pay within the range is based on several factors, which may include, but are not limited to, education, work experience, specialized training, and labor market conditions. In addition to salary, Sensient is proud to offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits program to support the holistic well-being of our employees and their families. This position is also eligible for performance-based incentive pay.
