What you can expect as the Technical Account Manager, Federal Programs at Fortress...

The Technical Account Manager (TAM) is an individual contributor on the Fortress Delivery - Government team. The TAM is the technical point of contact for assigned scope within a federal program, turning client mission requirements into platform configuration, delivery tasking, and technical guidance for working-level government stakeholders. The position bridges client advisory, delivery execution, and product feedback, offering direct exposure to high-impact DoD and Navy programs at a career stage where few professionals gain this depth of hands‑on federal cybersecurity experience. The TAM stays hands‑on with the Fortress platform and assigns and reviews the work of Forward Deployed Engineers before it reaches the client. The TAM also brings field insight to Product and passes follow‑on opportunities from delivery to Business Development. This is the entry level of the Technical Account Manager family. The TAM works within a Fortress lance under a Senior Technical Account Manager or portfolio lead, with coaching toward independent ownership of a program relationship and a defined path to Senior Technical Account Manager.
