Role Overview:

Axonius is seeking a Technical Account Manager to join our growing team. As a Technical Account Manager at Axonius, you will be responsible for building and maintaining long-term relationships with federal clients, understanding their unique business needs, and aligning Axonius solutions to meet those needs. Your technical expertise, combined with exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, will enable you to deliver outstanding customer experiences, drive customer retention and growth, and inspire the Technical Account Manager team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for federal clients, establishing and maintaining strong relationships to become a trusted advisor.
  • Understand clients' business objectives, IT infrastructure, and security requirements to effectively align Axonius solutions with their needs.
  • Conduct in-depth technical presentations, use case workshops, and training sessions to showcase the value and capabilities of Axonius products and services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, customer success, and product management, to ensure successful implementation and adoption of Axonius solutions.
  • Act as a customer advocate within Axonius, relaying feedback, feature requests, and enhancement opportunities to the product and engineering teams.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to expand product usage within client organizations, driving upsells and renewals.
  • Provide basic guidance and troubleshooting assistance to clients, addressing technical challenges, and ensuring smooth operation of Axonius solutions.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to maintain a deep understanding of the security and IT landscape.
  • Implementing best practices, tools, and processes to enhance customer success and team efficiency.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of combined experience within the cybersecurity or IT industry, preferably in a federal or enterprise software environment; With 1+ of those years proven experience in a technical account
  • Strong understanding of how Internet protocols work (HTTP/HTTPS, SMTP, SSH, SMB, FTP, Telnet, LDAP/LDAPS etc.)
  • Knowledge of networking topology, network configuration and components (firewalls, routers, etc.), endpoint security technologies (AV, EDR, malware detection etc.), cloud security principles, and vulnerability management.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly understand and resolve technical issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of one or more programming (Python, Java, etc.) and experience with APIs, scripting, or automation.
  • Basic understanding of data formats and structures (JSON, CSV, SQL/NoSQL, etc.)
