BlueAlly is seeking a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to serve as a trusted, dedicated point of contact for our managed services clients. In this role, you'll act as a concierge-level liaison between BlueAlly's technical teams and client stakeholders — consolidating administrative overhead, streamlining communication, and driving enterprise program management so our clients can focus on their core business with confidence. This is a relationship-driven, strategically minded role for someone who thrives on solving problems before they become issues and who takes genuine ownership of client success.
Responsibilities
Discover
- Develop and maintain deep functional knowledge of each client's business operations, goals, challenges, and infrastructure
- Fully integrate and embed with client teams to build lasting, trust-based relationships
- Participate in executive and senior technology leadership planning sessions
- Understand client workflows, processes, policies, and procedures — and, most importantly, their people
- Communicate proactive guidance and technology recommendations aligned to client needs, as defined by others.
Assess
- Ensure BlueAlly's services remain aligned with each client's prioritized business objectives and initiatives
- Lead regular technical business reviews to maintain strategic alignment
- Monitor business and technology trends, offering focused solutions where relevant
- Assess business risk and identify opportunities within the client's technology environment
Strategy
- Communicate strategic guidance by connecting BlueAlly's products and services to industry best practices and client needs, as determined by others.
- Help mitigate risk through effective use of BlueAlly's managed services platform
Technical Program Management
- Establish program milestones, maintain alignment, and drive efficient execution
- Serve as the single, unified point of communication for client-facing technical matters
- Build program charters, define roles, tasks, and success metrics
- Ensure clarity, alignment, and focus on each client's priority initiatives
- Create and maintain business and technical documentation for planning and reporting purposes
Position Requirements
- Proven experience in a client-facing technical account management, IT service delivery, or managed services role
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity fundamentals, and enterprise technology environments
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client relationships and competing priorities simultaneously
- Experience supporting budget forecasting, financial reporting, or vendor/service documentation
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail
Education
Work Conditions
- 40-hour week and availability during standard office hours
- Location (Remote/Hybrid), etc.
- Travel expected (50 %)
- Computer-based position, sitting for extended periods of time (leading/attending virtual meetings)
- Sufficient dexterity of hands and fingers to efficiently operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other computer components.
