Job Title: Technical Account Manager (AdTech)

About the Opportunity

Our client, a fast-growing and well-funded AdTech startup who are backed by industry veterans and gaining serious traction in the market.

We’re partnering with them to find a Technical Account Manager (TAM)—a client-facing, technically fluent ad platform expert who can bridge the gap between product capabilities and client needs.

This is a remote, senior-level individual contributor role with high visibility and impact.

Role Overview

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in ad serving, CTV platforms, AdOps, and automation, along with a proven track record of working directly with clients. In this role, you’ll support key accounts as their go-to technical resource—guiding onboarding, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure client success and platform adoption.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary technical contact for enterprise clients, supporting onboarding, implementation, and ongoing optimization.
Serve as a subject matter expert across ad serving systems, programmatic platforms (DSP/SSP), and CTV-specific technologies.
Translate client business goals into actionable technical workflows and platform usage strategies.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product and engineering teams to escalate bugs, suggest improvements, and contribute to the product roadmap.
Design and implement workflow automation solutions to increase efficiency in campaign delivery and reporting.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues across ad serving, trafficking, and integrations (e.g., VAST, VPAID, API workflows).
Create client-facing documentation, best practices, and enablement resources.
Proactively manage client relationships with a focus on satisfaction, retention, and growth.

Ideal Candidate Profile

5–8+ years of experience in AdTech, AdOps, or technical account management roles.
Strong familiarity with CTV and video ad platforms (e.g., Freewheel, Innovid, The Trade Desk, Google Ad Manager).
Deep understanding of programmatic advertising, ad serving workflows, and platform integrations.
Comfortable working directly with clients, managing expectations, and translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Highly self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

Bonus Points For

Experience with debugging ad tags and server-side ad integrations.
Familiarity with measurement, attribution, and media analytics tools.
Previous experience at a startup or high-growth company.
