Job Title: Technical Account Manager (AdTech)

Location: Remote (U.S.-based)

Employment Type: Full-time

About the Opportunity

Our client, a fast-growing and well-funded AdTech startup who are backed by industry veterans and gaining serious traction in the market.

We’re partnering with them to find a Technical Account Manager (TAM)—a client-facing, technically fluent ad platform expert who can bridge the gap between product capabilities and client needs.

This is a remote, senior-level individual contributor role with high visibility and impact.

Role Overview

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in ad serving, CTV platforms, AdOps, and automation, along with a proven track record of working directly with clients. In this role, you’ll support key accounts as their go-to technical resource—guiding onboarding, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure client success and platform adoption.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary technical contact for enterprise clients, supporting onboarding, implementation, and ongoing optimization.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert across ad serving systems, programmatic platforms (DSP/SSP), and CTV-specific technologies.
  • Translate client business goals into actionable technical workflows and platform usage strategies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product and engineering teams to escalate bugs, suggest improvements, and contribute to the product roadmap.
  • Design and implement workflow automation solutions to increase efficiency in campaign delivery and reporting.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues across ad serving, trafficking, and integrations (e.g., VAST, VPAID, API workflows).
  • Create client-facing documentation, best practices, and enablement resources.
  • Proactively manage client relationships with a focus on satisfaction, retention, and growth.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 5–8+ years of experience in AdTech, AdOps, or technical account management roles.
  • Strong familiarity with CTV and video ad platforms (e.g., Freewheel, Innovid, The Trade Desk, Google Ad Manager).
  • Deep understanding of programmatic advertising, ad serving workflows, and platform integrations.
  • Comfortable working directly with clients, managing expectations, and translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

Bonus Points For

  • Experience with debugging ad tags and server-side ad integrations.
  • Familiarity with measurement, attribution, and media analytics tools.
  • Previous experience at a startup or high-growth company.
