Job summary

Sigma is seeking a Technical Writing Intern to help document new product features and develop user assistance for enterprise software. You will partner with a mentor and collaborate with engineers, PMs, and designers to deliver a major documentation project that guides customers and enhances product understanding.

You’ll take a project from ideation to implementation, with opportunities to create tutorials, visuals, and information architecture enhancements for AI-enabled content.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Exceptional written and spoken communication skills.
• Strong desire to learn and translate topics into user assistance.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Write clear, accurate documentation for product features.
• Deploy documentation and analyze customer metrics to improve content.
• Work with engineers, designers, and product managers throughout development.
• Participate in cross-functional planning and bug bashes.
• Translate technical details into digestible docs and release notes.
