Job summary

Clear Resolution Consulting (CRC) is seeking a Mid-level Technical Editor in Crystal City, VA, to ensure accuracy and clarity across intelligence-related materials. The role requires you to work on DoD/IC content with strict security standards.

You will edit for grammar, punctuation, and style, review tables and graphics, and verify alignment with source text and Security Markings Program requirements. A TS/SCI with CI poly clearance is mandatory; remote work is not offered.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph.
• HS Diploma or GED with 3+ years DoD/IC experience.
• At least 3 years IC analysis experience.
• 3 years as writer/editor or intelligence analyst.
• Strong editing for grammar, punctuation, and syntax.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• SECURITY CLEARANCE: A current & active Top Secret/SCI clearance with CI polygraph required
• EDUCATION:
• HS Diploma or GED and 3+ years of experience in the DoD or Intelligence community
• EXPERIENCE
• Three (3) years experience in IC analysis
• Three (3) years of experience as a writer, editor, or intelligence analyst
• Editing for proper grammar, punctuation, and syntax.
• Adjusting text for logic, clarity, and consistency.
• Reviewing and editing tables, tone boxes, and graphics, and ensuring the content supports and is consistent with the accompanying text.
• Ensuring products comply with sourcing requirements and Security Markings Program classification/declassification markings.

COMPENSATION

Base salaries at CRC are determined by various factors, including work location, an individual’s education, knowledge, skills, experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected salary range for this position is $103,000 to $143,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of CRC’s total compensation package.
