Job summary

Catena Media seeks a visionary CTO to lead technology and data strategy across its portfolio. You will align the tech vision with business goals, oversee architecture decisions, and drive a cohesive, scalable roadmap spanning IT governance, stack choices, and infrastructure.

You will coach global teams, promote DevOps and cloud-native practices, balance build vs. buy decisions, and champion a product‑based, agile, squad‑led operating model across the company.

Qualifications

• Domain expertise in technology and data.
• Experience managing a mid-sized global tech organization.
• Strong understanding of product and project management and their interconnections with technology.
• Seasoned technical leader with deep insight into affiliate marketing and/or digital marketing.
• Strategic and commercial acumen to challenge, translate, and drive decisions across Catena Media.
• Curious and future-oriented, interested in technology trends and trying new solutions.
• Ability to make architecture decisions at team and product level across applications and data.
• Guide architectural decisions on back and front-end solutions with multiple architectures.
• Familiar with DevOps principles and cloud-native solutions.
• Experience in agile development with solution architect experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set the overarching technology and data strategy and vision across Catena Media.
• Partner with the leadership team to translate technological opportunities into business decisions.
• Lead a cohesive technology roadmap across IT governance, target tech stack, infrastructure, and architecture.
• Approve investment plans and priorities per technology team to align with strategy.
• Promote simplicity and agility through CI/CD and automated deployment.
• Lead teams to design solutions for future architectural changes across business units.
• Hands-on coaching to solve complex technology problems.
• Act as technology champion to the business and executive team.
• Guide transition to a product-based, agile, squad-led operating model.
• Ensure coordinated approach to initiatives impacting technology and standardize tools/infra.
• Manage overall tech budgets and resources.
• Be a member of the Catena Media Tech Committee.
